WANT TO LEARN MY SECRETS?
I'd like to share them with you and your staff!
After serving many years, I have integrated the best of what I have learned into a dynamic educational curriculum that addresses the unique issues experienced by helping professionals and the organizations they serve.
As Director of the Institute for Helping Professionals, it is my vision to share this knowledge with others and teach them ways to remain vibrant, effective and connected to their work!
At the Institute, we teach professionals how to:
- Gain insight into the subtle dynamics of the helping relationship
- Reconnect with their motivation and purpose for serving others
- Handle stress, remain calm and decisive in a pressured situation
- See beyond the day to day challenges and find effective solutions
- Bring a sense of clarity, insight and compassion to their relationships
in the helping environment and improve the quality of services provided
A message from our Executive Director, Joan Stenzler:
"I've worked for over two decades for hospitals and community
mental health centers as a clinician, instructor and program director.
Over this time, I have experienced first-hand the many challenges that
often arise, both in the helping environment and especially in relationships
with clients, patients and those I was serving.
Despite the looming possibility of burnout, I've been able to remain
inspired and connected to my passion and purpose for serving others.
As a result, my work remains meaningful, satisfying
and effective, as my level of innovation continues to climb!"
